Substantive comments are welcomed, including disagreement. Feedback is evaluated against the claim's stated status, the cited evidence, the CSI construct boundaries, and the current research stage.
What to submit
Email ed@collectivestateinference.org with:
- Reference article number, title, version, and section
- The exact claim, citation, definition, or passage being challenged
- The nature of the concern: factual, bibliographic, interpretive, theoretical, methodological, ethical, or accessibility related
- Supporting evidence or a stable source link, where applicable
- A proposed correction or clarification, when available
- Any relevant affiliation, interest, or conflict disclosure
- Whether the contributor may be acknowledged publicly
Review process
- The submission is logged and screened for specificity and relevance.
- Bibliographic matters are checked against DOI registration, publisher metadata, or the source itself.
- Substantive matters are evaluated against the article's claim status and supporting literature.
- Material corrections are recorded in the Version History and applied through the repository's branch-and-pull-request process.
- Disputed matters that cannot be resolved may be documented as an open interpretive or research question.
Possible outcomes
- Typographical or metadata correction
- Clarified wording without a change in conceptual meaning
- Added, replaced, narrowed, or removed citation support
- Article-version increment for a substantive clarification
- Deferred decision pending external review or empirical evidence
- No change, with the reason documented internally
Acknowledgment and privacy
Contributors may be acknowledged when permission is provided and the contribution materially improves the Reference. Contact details and private correspondence will not be published without consent. Submission does not transfer authorship or guarantee adoption.
Scope and limits
This process is not a substitute for journal peer review, formal research misconduct procedures, or legal notice. It is a transparent editorial mechanism for maintaining living scholarly documentation.
