Permitted scholarly use
Brief quotations may be used for criticism, commentary, scholarship, teaching, and research when accompanied by accurate attribution, the article title and number, version, author, CSI Reference name, and canonical URL. Citation does not imply endorsement.
Uses requiring permission
- Substantial reproduction or redistribution of article text
- Adaptation, translation, or republication of diagrams, visual identity, or branded material
- Commercial reuse, training-corpus licensing, or inclusion in paid products
- Creation of derivative reference editions presented as official CSI documentation

Preferred attribution
Use the article-specific citation displayed on each Reference page. For the edition as a whole, cite: Clark, E. D. (2026). CSI Reference, Edition 0.1. Collective-State Inference Research Program.
Third-party scholarship
Bibliographic records, quotations, names, and linked scholarship remain subject to their respective rights. Inclusion in the Scholarly Sources registry does not transfer rights or place third-party works under CSI terms.
Future license decision
A permanent reuse license may be adopted for a later archival release. Any change will be prospective, versioned, and recorded in the Version History; it will not be implied retroactively.
